Fusion Paint - Taking the Upcycling world by storm.
If you are a keen Up-cycler/DIY Doer and love revamping an old bit of furniture that would otherwise be thrown away, or perhaps you are looking to paint some old tiles cos you can’t afford to rip them all out and start again? Whatever you may be planning now or in the future, READ ON cos Fusion Mineral Paint is about to be your new forever best friend!
In their own words “It’s easy to paint it beautiful with Fusion Mineral Paint".
Perfect! Just what we like to here but what makes it so different to other paints like chalk paint?
This paint really does have a lot of credits to its name, even though it may be an unknown to many of you:
Lead free, phlalate free, ammonia free, formaldehyde free (yep, found in some paints!)
Environmentally and health conscious…………
………..Told you you would want to know more!
We have worked with Fusion paint first hand at Muck n Brass https://mucknbrass.com
with Zoe, the actual Queen of Upcycling and she is totally wowed by the stuff, she's now selling it.
She painted half her studio in it…..doors, tables, chairs, tiles, the lot.
She confesses, with so much on (she teaches upcycling workshops using the paint as well as using it herself) she hasn’t had time to do more than one coat everywhere but she can’t believe how good the coverage and finish is with just one coat!
The colour range is excellent and with concealers as part of the range, ’dark to light’ colour transformations are a breeze. Even if you want to ‘paint the impossible,’ your problem is solved with their “Ultra grip” primer.
This means that no surface goes untransformed - tiles, glass, metal and even plastic!
I can’t wait for my next big project to really put this paint through it’s paces.
It doesn’t stop there either as the “Accent” range allows the finish to be even more unique.
Try the “Mineral Stain” for the look of natural wood or the “Smooth Embossing Paste - Pearl” with a beautiful iridescent finish. Metallic paints, Decoupage and Glaze are all available too.
Also check out the “Tones for Tots” range if you are thinking about putting anything painted into a babies nursery. Regular paints can contain scary amounts of chemicals but not Fusion Mineral Paint!
Prices vary but a Classic collection 500ml pot is £18.99 incl. VAT.
My personal colour favourites are Tuscan Orange (The DIY Doers of course) and the beautiful Midnight Blue (below.)
